Notice of Invitation

1. The Addis Ababa City Roads Authority (AACRA), representing the Addis Ababa City Administration, invites qualified and experienced construction contractors with proven technical and financial capacity to compete for high-priority city development works, such as road corridor development and riverside development projects.
2. Interested and eligible contractors are required to submit their Interest along with the following documents and information for registration:
   i. Evidence of Eligibility, valid for 2018 E.C.:
   • Trading License
   • VAT Registration Certificate
   • Certificate of Registration from Ethiopian Construction Authority or other appropriate bureaus RC-2 or GC-2 or above.
   • Tax Clearance Certificate issued by the relevant Revenue Office, valid at least on the submission deadline.
   • Evidence of being Registered as Supplier in the list of the mandated public body.
3. During registration, the original documents and one non-returnable copy must be presented in person. The registration document must be signed by the contractor's head, owner, or legally authorized representative and stamped with the organization's official seal.
4. In-person registration is open from Friday, October 23, 2026, at 8:30 AM to Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 5:30 PM (five consecutive working days). Contractors must submit all required compliance documentation during registration; upon successful verification, they will be eligible to purchase the project's technical documents.
5. Contractors must submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of their technical proposal to the address below. Submissions will be accepted for 7 (Seven) consecutive working days starting from the announcement of the pre-registration results, strictly closing on Monday, November 09, 2026, at 5:30 PM.
6. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submissions.
7. Contractors must pay the registration and technical document fee based on their classification: 7,500 ETB for Grade 1 and 6,500 ETB for Grade 2.
