INVITATION TO BID
PROVISION OF INSURANCE SERVICES

TechnoServe Inc. – Ethiopia Country Office (TNS), an international non-governmental organization, invites qualified and legally registered insurance companies licensed to operate in Ethiopia to submit bids for the provision of the following insurance services for a one-year period on a fixed-premium basis:

1. Motor, Property and Money Insurance: Coverage for approximately 39 vehicles and 46 motorcycles, including comprehensive own damage (including flood and theft), third-party liability, Bandit/Shifta/Guerilla (BSG), and Political Violence and Terrorism (PVT); office equipment and other insured assets against fire, lightning, burglary/housebreaking, all risks including theft, and PVT; and money in safe and in transit for designated TNS locations.
2. Group Life and Health/Medical Insurance: Group life insurance, comprehensive accidental indemnity, and group medical insurance for TNS employees and eligible dependents, including the specified medical, maternity, accidental injury, and related benefits described in the Terms of Reference.

Eligibility and required documents: Bidders must provide a valid insurance business licence/trade licence, TIN certificate (and VAT certificate where applicable), company profile, evidence of relevant experience (minimum seven years), branch/service coverage, client references, sample policy wordings, and complete technical and financial proposals. Bids must address all requirements in the relevant TOR.

Deadline for submission: November 05,2026 at 4:30 PM (Ethiopia Time).

Technical proposals will be evaluated before financial proposals. Bidders must submit complete documentation and separate technical and financial proposals in accordance with the applicable TOR and portal instructions. Detailed Terms of Reference, schedules, and bid forms are available through the procurement portal. Late or non-responsive bids may be rejected.

TechnoServe reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with its procurement policies and procedures.
