1. The 40/60 ክራውን ሳይት የጋራ ሕንፃ ባለቤቶች ኃላፊነቱ የተወሰነ ህብረት ሥራ ማህበር hereby invites qualified and eligible Bidders to submit sealed bids for Civil Works, Supply & Installation of Pipes & Fittings and Supply & Installation of Electro-Mechanical Equipment for Ground Water Supply Project with the provision of necessary equipment, materials, and labor with the terms and conditions of the tender documents.

2. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) as specified in the document and is open to all registered contractors with documents evidencing eligibility (TIN, VAT, competency certificate, valid trade license, tax clearance, certificate of registration for Water Works Contractors with Grade 4 and above status). Renewed Trade Licenses from the Government Bureau for the year (2018 EC)
3. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 (Ninety) days after Bid opening.
4. Bid must be accompanied by bid security of 150,000.00 (One hundred Fifty Thousand) birr, in the form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee, or C.P.O. (Certified Payment Order), and shall remain Valid for 120 days. An insurance bond is not acceptable.
5. The criteria to be used in the tender qualification are:
   • 5.1 Specific Civil Works, Supply & Installation of Pipes & Fittings and Supply & Installation of Electro-Mechanical Equipment for Ground Water Supply Project:
   • 5.2 At least three contracts ( Civil works, Supply & Installation of Pipes & Fittings and Supply & Installation of Electro-Mechanical Equipment for Deep Ground Water Supply Project), each with a minimum value of ETB 4,000,000.00, within the last five years.
   • 5.3 The contracts executed during the period require a minimum experience in the following key activities: including Civil works construction, supply and installation of HDPE pipes not less than 1 km and supply & installation of Electro-Mechanical equipment; submersible pump for deep well equipped with Discharge ( Q ) not less than 15l/s, and Head ( H) not lessthan 85m.
   • 5.4 Minimum average annual turnover of 5,000,000.00, calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last four years.
   • 5.5 Key Personnel: Project Manager (PhD/MSc/BSc Construction management/ Civil/Hydraulic/Water Supply/Water Resource and related), Site Engineer (MSc/BSc Civil/Hydraulic/Water Supply/Water Resource and related), EM Expert (B.Sc./M.Sc. Electrical /mechanical /electromechanical engineer), Environmentalist (B.Sc./M.Sc. in Environmental / Sociologist / Economist and related), Surveyor (Technical Diploma/BSc), Foreman (Technical Diploma), Electrician / Mechanic (Diploma), Plumber (Diploma)
   • 5.6 Dump Truck (min.14m3), Concrete Mixer (min.350lt.), Concrete Vibrator, Portable dewatering pump (min. head of 12m), Truck Mounted Crane (min. 5 ton), HDPE Pipe Welding Machine with portable Generator (welding up to OD315mm), Light vehicle four wheel Drive and any other required equipment necessary to the work
6. A complete set of Bidding Documents must be purchased by interested bidders from the 40/60 ክራውን ሳይት የጋራ ሕንፃ ባለቤቶች ኃላፊነቱ የተወሰነ ህብረት ሥራ ማህበር office, in front of Kality Gabriel Church building No 02, Room number 06, Addis Ababa City, Telephone number 0955376312, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200 (Two Hundred) only.
7. Bids must be delivered to the 40/60 ክራውን ሳይት የጋራ ሕንፃ ባለቤቶች ኃላፊነቱ የተወሰነ ህብረት ሥራ ማህበር, in front of Kality Gabriel Church, building No 02. Room number 06, Woreda 07, Akaki Kality sub city, Addis Ababa City, and Telephone number 0955376312. The bid submission; at or before 5:00 P.M. on November 07, 2026; as announcement through Newspaper. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
8. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders'/their representatives who choose to attend in person at 5:30 P.M. on the same day at office of 40/60 ክራውን ሳይት የጋራ ሕንፃ ባለቤቶች ኃላፊነቱ የተወሰነ ህብረት ሥራ ማህበር, , woreda 07 Akaki Kality Sub city, Addis Ababa city, Ethiopia.
9. The 40/60 ክራውን ሳይት የጋራ ሕንፃ ባለቤቶች ኃላፊነቱ የተወሰነ ህብረት ሥራ ማህበር, reserves the right to reject the bid entirely or part of the bid.
