Buluko Textile S.C. calls for a National Competitive Open Bidding Procedure

invites wax sealed bids from interested registered eligible bidders for Procurements of:

Different Types of Footwear, Accessories and Headwear Collections Products

1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) specified in the Procurement Directive of the Buluko Textile S.C (BTSC), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
2. Interested eligible Manufacturers of the indicated materials may obtain further information from Procurement and Supply Department 3rd floor BTSC head office located at Sheger City, Furi Sub city, Alemgena town and buy the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours (Monday to Thursday 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM; 1:30 PM-4:30 PM and Friday 8:30 AM-11:30 AM; and 1:30 PM-4:30 PM.
3. A complete set of bidding documents in English can be purchased by interested bidders to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 (five hundred only) starting from the date of announcement on The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper.
4. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 100,000.00 (One hundred thousand only) for each lot in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee addressed to "Buluko Textile Share Company" in separate envelope, and be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 AM on the 16th day from the date of this notice on air in The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper. Bid security in the form of insurance bond shall not be accepted.
5. Bids will be closed 16th day from the date of this notice on air in The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper at 10:00 AM & will be opened on the same date at 10:30 A.M morning in the presence of bidders, representatives, or who choose to attend; at the address below: Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
6.  Bidders shall be required to submit their bid document:

(a)Sealed Technical Proposal including eligibility documents (mandatory documentary evidence): one original and one copy;

(b) Adequate Samples as indicated in the bidding document.

(c) Sealed Financial Proposal: one original and one copy; and also

(d) CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee.

7. BTSC reserves the right to reject all or parts of the bid without giving any reason & incurring any liability to Bidders.
