2. The Dire Dawa Administration Council now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for: Construction of Maintenance Work for Hall (Location: Dire Dawa)
3. Intended Completion Date for the whole of the Works shall be 60 calendar days.
4. Bidding will be conducted through Open Local tendering procedure contained in public proclamation of FDRE and is open to all Eligible bidders.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Dire Dawa Administration Council and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 7:30AM - 12:00 PM& 2:00 5:30 PM working hours.
6. Qualifications requirements include: Contractors of category GC/BC-10, 9, 8 & 6 (who has received micro & small enterprise certificates only) with license valid for the year 2015E.C. Work Experience is not Required
7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 300 in Cash.
8. Bidders shall submit their Bids in two envelopes, the first envelop labeled as "Technical Proposaland Bid Security" and the second envelope "Financial Proposal", separate sealed and the two nvelopes sealed in on other outer envelope.
9. Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, Technical Proposal first and Financial Proposal of qualified Bidders next.
10. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 9:00 AM On 19 April, 2023.Late bids will be rejected.
11. Bids Will Be Opened In The Presence Of Bidder's Representatives Who Choose To Attend at The Same Date of Submission at 9:30 AM
12. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 36,000.00 (Thirty Six Thousand Ethiopian Birr only) in the form of Cash, an Unconditional Bank Guarantee, or CPO. The Bid Security shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid.
13. The public body reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders.
