1. Amhara National Regional State Health Bureau through the Government of Ethiopia has received finance from the African Development Bank herein after called the Bank, towards the cost of the Multi-Sectoral Approach Stunning Reduction project and it intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for which this invitation is issued.

2. The Amhara National Regional State Health Bureau now invites eligible bidders with licenses in water works construction for the construction of civil works, supply, and installation of pipes, fittings, and Electromechanical Works of three Water Supply Projects

3. Bidding will be conducted through a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) in accordance with the procedures of the Africa Development Bank's Procurement Framework for Bank Funded Operations dated October 2015.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Amhara National Regional State Bureau of Health, Procurement officer, Shitu Asrat, E-mail: shituasrat2@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 8:30 A.M to 5:30 PM Monday to Friday at the address given below.

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased directly from the Amhara National Regional State Health Bureau Procurement, Finance, and Property Administration Directorate, 2nd-floor room number 213, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500 cash. The bid /Five Hundred birr/. The method of payment will be documented and will be directly sent by the bidder or its legal representative.

6. Bids must be delivered to Amhara National Regional State, Health Bureau, Procurement, Finance, and Property Admin. Directorate, floor number: behind the main building, Bahir Dar, before 10:00 A.M 11 August 2022 G.C; and Bids shall be opened at 10:00 A.M on the same date in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend. If the bid opening date is Holiday, the opening date will be the next working day. Electronic Bidding shall not be permitted. Late Bids shall be rejected.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by an amount of bid security as stated in the table above in the form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid for a period of 120 days + 28 days. An insurance bond is not acceptable.

8. Bidders are required to submit copies of all eligible documents and licenses which are renewed for the year 2021/2022 G.C.

9. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid.
