Development Trust is implementing a project (TARGET - Technical Assistance to Reinforce General Education Quality Improvement Programme for Equity. GEQIP-E) funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) in Ethiopia. The project provides support to the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Regional Education Bureaus (REBS) to strengthen the delivery of the World Bank GEQIP-E 'Programme for Results' (P4R) aimed at addressing the" learning crisis".

INTRODUCTION

Education Development Trust is seeking Filmmakers to submit a proposal to produce a documentary video about the Technical Assistance to Reinforce GEQUIP-E Ethiopia (TARGET)' programme.

The proposals (technical and financial) should be submitted by organizations working in Ethiopia to produce a documentary on the impact the TARGET programme has had and is having on the Ethiopian education system. The documentary will shed light on the approach the TARGET programme has adapted to strengthen the education system and improve learning outcomes.

The proposal should be submitted within 10 days of this RFP publication. It should be submitted in person at the Education Development Trust Offices. The applications submitted will be shortlisted and called for further evaluation in due time.

This call for Filmmakers is therefore to invite qualified and eligible bidders to collect the detailed terms of reference (ToR) to work with the Ed Dev Trust/TARGET team to make a documentary. Topic: 'A documentary video about the Technical Assistance to Reinforce GEQUIP-E Ethiopia (TARGET). Detailed expected outputs are indicated in the Request for Proposal.

Duration of the Assignment: July 15th September 30th 2022.

Key Considerations:

The desired Filmmaking organization is Legally Registered with proven experience in related assignments in the Education or Development Sector.

Interested Organizations are expected to attach to the email Copies of Legal Documents (Renewed License, tax identification and value-added tax registration certificates) and Profile indicating that they are qualified to perform the services including a description of similar assignments done and experience in similar conditions.
