1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Governance Modernization to Enable Efficient Service Delivery Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply and Installation of computing equipment and furnishing for IFMIS Contact center.
2. The Ministry of Finance now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of office equipment and office furniture for establishing and operationalizing a formal IFMIS help desk unit.
3. Bidding will be conducted through local competitive procurement using a Request for quotation (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" February 2025 6th edition ("Procurement Regulations") and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Finance, at the address below and inspect the bidding document during office hours. 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 to 05:00PM. at the address given below.
5. The bidding document in English may be requested by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The soft copy of the RFQ may be sent by email upon request by potential suppliers. However the Purchaser does not take responsibility for any additions or omissions in the RFQ.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 AM on November 3, 2026. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 6th November 2026 at 10:00 AM. Immediately after bid closing.
