INVITATION TO BID FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF AUDIT SERVICES

VisionFund Microfinance Institution S.C. (VFMFI), established in 1998, is a licensed and regulated microfinance institution under the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE), providing financial services to underserved communities across Ethiopia.

VFMFI operates through 121 branches across Oromia, Amhara, South Ethiopia, Central Ethiopia, Sidama and Addis Ababa, offering a range of loan and savings products to rural, urban and semi-urban customers. As of 30 June 2026, the institution had more than 2.4 million customer accounts, over 250,000 active borrowers, approximately ETB 23 billion in outstanding loan portfolio, and ETB 12 billion in deposits.

Vision Fund Micro Finance Institution S.C wishes to Procure as per the schedule of requirement indicated in the bid document. Hence, eligible audit firms are invited to conduct an audit services for the fiscal year 2025/26 and for the coming three years.

Hence, the Company invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to quote their best offer for the provision of the services within a delivery time indicated in the bid document.

Bidders should strictly follow the following instructions: -

1. Trade license (Renewed for the current year) TIN and VAT registration certificate
2. The Firm's Profile
3. Certificate of Competence from the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE).
4. Evidence of previous experience in providing audit services in similar organizations.
5. Separate technical and financial proposal that clearly indicates price with VAT
6. Detail TOR of the required services and evaluation criteria can be collected from Visionfund Microfinance Head Office Supply Chain and Logistics Dep't starting from October 26,2026 and the bid shall be closed on November 03,.2026 at 4:30PM-afternoon.
7. All bidders should adhere to the rules and regulations stated in the bid documents, otherwise would not be considered for evaluation.
8. The Winner Service provider shall present a 10% performance bond in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee from nationally recognized Bank in ETB.
9. Vision Fund Micro Finance Institution S.C reserves the right to accept or reject part or all of the bidding process.
