1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Horn of Africa - Groundwater for Resilience Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Civil Works, Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings, Design Review, Supply and Installation of Electromechanical Equipment for (Lot 1-Qudha dalan -Danot, Lot -2 Injiro- Geladi &Lot-3 Quorile- Danot Woredas ) RPS in Dolo Zone, Somali National RS
2. The Ministry of Water and Energy now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Civil Works, Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings, Design Review, Supply and Installation of Electromechanical Equipment for (Lot 1-Qudha dalan -Danot, Lot -2 Injiro- Geladi &Lot-3 Quorile- Danot Woredas ) RPS in Dolo Zone, Somali National RS
3. Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" July 2016 updated February 2025 ("Procurement Regulations") and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from The Ministry of Water and Energy and inspect the bidding document during office hours between 9:00 am to 4:00pm at the address given below paragraph 9.
5. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on Paragraph 9 on or before November 9, 2026, 2:00pm. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below paragraph 9 on November 9, 2026, 2:30pm.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration only using the form in the bidding document issued to the bidders. A bid Security Declaration must be submitted for each Lot. Civil Works, Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings, Design Review, Supply and Installation of Electromechanical Equipment for (Lot 1-Qudha dalan -Danot, Lot -2 Injiro- Geladi &Lot-3 Quorile- Danot Woredas ) RPS in Dolo Zone, Somali National RS The Bid-Security shall be in the form of Form of Bid-Securing Declaration using a Form of Form of Bid-Securing Declaration in Section IV, Bidding.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder's beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
