EXTERNAL AUDIT BID

Seed Microfinance Institution S.C established in 2024 and licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia on Dec 16, 2024 in accordance with Proclamation No. 626/2009 and amended proclamation 1164/ 2019. Seed is operating from our head office with one branch in Addis Ababa. Therefore, It invites interested Public auditors firms to audit the accounts of company for 3 (three) consecutive fiscal years starting from June 30, 2027. So, audit firms participating in the Bid are expected to meet the following requirements.

1. Able to provide renewed business license; tax clearance, VAT registration and tax payer identification certificate;
2. Able to provide renewed License certificate of registration by the Ethiopian Accounting and Auditing Board;
3. Legally licensed to perform accounting audit work;
4. Has at least three years Audit experience in financial institutions
5. Can provide audited accounts and experience in international financial reporting system;
6. Can meet the requirements of the new National Bank of Ethiopia Directive / DIRECTIVE NO.MFI/37/2024
7. Interested firms must meet the Public Auditor criteria set out in AABE Directive No. 1096/2025
8. The bid price should be inclusive of all three years from (2027-2029) and each payment will be released after each audit report is reviewed and accepted by the employer.
9. The organization reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or cancel the tender process entirely at any time prior to contract.

Therefore, within 10 consecutive days from the date of publication of this notice in the newspaper, interested bidders must submit Technical & Financial proposals in two separate, sealed envelopes, marked accordingly, and enclosed in an outer master sealed envelope. Financial quotes or prices must indicate the annual audit fee inclusive of VAT, broken down by fiscal year. Interested and eligible bidders may collect the Terms of Reference (TOR) and tender documents from our Head Office, located on the 4th Floor of Degol Building, on the road from St. Urael Church to Atlas, during regular working hours and within the specified period.
