The office of Oromia Coffee Farmers' Cooperative Union L.L. located at Oromia Regional state Sheger city, Gelan sub-city around Atlas resort, invites a sealed Bid from International manufacturers to supply coffee safety net and mesh wire.
Therefore, Bidders can obtain a complete set of bidding document from the Head Office of Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union located in Gelan Sub City, Sheger City, Oromia, Ethiopia, starting from the first date this notice posted on the Newspaper against payment of non-refundable fee of ETH. Birr 1,000.00 (Birr one thousand only).
Bidding will be conducted through the International Open Competitive Bidding (ICB) Procedure Specified in the bidding documents and is open to all eligible bidders.
Bidders must submit the following mandatory documents to prove eligibility:
1. Copy of their Valid certificate of incorporation/business registration from the country of origin or authorized dealer agreements must be submitted if the bidder is not the direct manufacturer or renewed trade license, renewed registration trade license certificate, tax identification number, yalid tax clearance certificate, VAT registration certificate, and other necessary documents.
2. Audited financial statements for the last three (3) fiscal years (2023, 2024, 2025) demonstrating positive net worth and adequate cash flow.
3. Technical Evidence of at least three (3) successful contracts for the supply and commissioning of similar coffee cleaning machinery of comparable capacity in the last five (5) years, supported by client reference letters or completion certificates.
4. The bidders provide 200,000.00 ET. Birr bid security in the form of CPO or unconditional Bank Guarantee by the name of Oromia Coffee Farmers' Cooperative Union L. L. Bidders are strictly advised to adhere the terms and conditions set in the tender document.
5. Partial offer results bid rejection, incomplete methodology, incomplete profile and CVs, absence of local agent, absence of local and international references and others will be examined strictly. Bidders must provide sample of the materials at document submission date.
6. Interested eligible bidders may obtain SBD at the Union Head office at the addressed stated above from 2:00 to 6:00 A.M and 7:00 to 11:00 P.M from Monday to Thursday and 2:00 to 5:30 A.M and 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday 2:00 to 6:00 A.M local time.
7. Submission and opening of the bid will be at the head office of the union procurement and property administration Division Head class, at the addressed stated below.
8. The deadline of bid document submission & bid opening Technical and financial offers will be:
ü For technical proposal the closing and opening day will be on the 28th working day at 4:00 A.M & 4:30 A.M local time respectively from the first date posted on the Ethiopian Herald. If the 28th day will not be working day, the opening and closing day of the bid will be the next working day with the same time table stated above. Note that the working day of our union reference to from Monday to Saturday.
ü Financial proposal opening date will be after evaluation of earlier submitted or opened technical proposal documents and late bid shall be rejected.
9. The bidders shall submit one "Original" and "One Copy" of Technical and Financial documents that shall be produced in such a way that the original one and copy to be wax sealed in one envelope for technical and financial separately.
It should also be labeled as 'one original and one copy' and all to be placed in one outer large mother envelope. The bid security must be wax sealed separately marked "Bid security" and must be put in the envelope of the original technical documents. Every envelope should be wax sealed, Signed and stamped by the bidder properly and separately.
10.The bidders should return the original bid document and fill forms on the information required for open tender, stamp, seal, and sign the bid document failure to do so results as non-responsive and rejected automatically.
11.The winner bidder provides 10% unconditional Bank Guarantee or performance security bond from the total contract within fifteen (15) days from signing the contract. Performance bond from Insurance Company or any other organization except bank is unacceptable.
12.Oromia Coffee Farmers' Cooperative Union L.L. has the right to reject all or parts of the bid.
