1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDP online and on the African Development Bank Group's Internet Website.
2. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received Financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Climate Resilient Wheat Value Chain Development (CREW) Project, P-ET-AA-020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this Grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for two new constructions and two Rehabilitation of Small Scale Irrigation Schemes in Amhara Region.
3. Eligible bidders with work licenses in water works construction grade-5 (WWC-WWGC/GWWC grade 5) and above. Amhara Region Bureau of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the New construction and Rehabilitation of Small Seale Irrigation Schemes under four different lots indicated in the table below:

4. Bidding will be conducted through Open Competitive Bidding National African Development Bank's Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
5. Interested eligible bidders may bid for any one or more of the above listed lots and may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office in address given below in the morning from 2:30 to 6:30 Local time and in the afternoon from 7:30 to 11:00 Local time Monday to Friday.
6. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1,600 (One Thousand Six Hundred Birr). The method of payment will be cash at hand.
7. All Bids must be valid for a period of 90 (ninety) days after Bid opening and must he accompanied by an original bid security of ETB as stated in the table above and in the form of an unconditional Bank Guarantee enforceable in the local registered banks, in the format provided in the Bidding Document,
8. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 A.M (4:00 Local time) on 11, July 2025. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
9. Bids shall be publicly opened at the address below, at 10:30 A.M (4:30 Local time) on the same date of closing in the presence of bidders or their designated representatives who choose to attend.
10. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Framework requiring the Borrower to disclose office information on the successful bidder's beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract
