  1. Oromia Agricultural research institute now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Civil Works, of Bako, Fiche & Bedele Agriculture Research Centers, in Oromia National و Regional State.
  2. The bidders shall furnish the following documents to fulfill the eligibility criteriac
    1. Renewed Trade license for the Year 2017 EFY, TIN, VAT Registration, and A valid tax 10 clearance certificate issued by the tax authority. This documentation is required only for Locally Registered bidders.
    2. Audited Financial Report of past Three Years (2022 to 2024 GC
    3. Supply registered on eGP
    4. Letter of Authorized signature (Power of Attorney)
    5. Commercial registrations
    6. Bid security amounted on Newspaper
    7. Certificate of registration and competence as category BC-4/GC 5 and below issue by ministry of Urban and Infrastructure or Oromia Construction Authority
  3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IFF Borrowers" (July 2016; revised November 2017; and July 2018: and November 2020 "Procurement Regulations"), which can be found at the following website: world bank org. The bid is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement regulations.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Oromia Agricultural Research institute. FSRP Procurement Management Team in the Block or Floor 2. Room number 206 during officer hours from 8:30 am. to 12:30 pm. and 1:30 pm. to 4:30 pm.
  5. The English version of scanned bidding document can be obtained free of charge by downloading it from the World Bank's website at wwwwworldbank.org/procurement files. Please note that you are required to register in person at the address specified in item 4 of this invitation.
  6. Bids must be delivered in person to the address below before 10:00 AM (4:00 AM local time) on 31st days starting from the official announcement of the bid on the newspaper. Late bids will be rejected.
  7. Bids and bid security will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 31st day starting from the official announcement of the bid on the newspaper at 10:30 AM (4:30 AM local time)
  8. All the bid must be accompanied by a bid security ETB 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Birr Only) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency in the form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO in the name the of Oromia Agricultural Research institute.
  9. The bid is valid for 120 days. The bid security shall be valid for twenty-eight days (28) beyond the end of the validity period of the bid. Finally, the client reserves the right to accept or reject the bid partially or totally.
