Invitation to Bid

Bid Announcement No. SSNT-T 655

Ethiopian Airlines Group intends to invite qualified bidders for Design-Build of Water Source Study, Investigation Developing, Construction and Pumping Test and Study, Design and Construction of at Debre Markos, Gore-Metu and Mizan-Aman Airports. The scope of the work consists of the design and construction of the following major facilities:

• Study and Investigate Water Sources, and Select the at least two productive water wells drilling sites at each airport
• Drill, Construct, Develop and Conducting Pump test of two water wells at each Airport.
• Study Design and Construction of Pressure Main
• In category General Water Works Construction category 2 and above (GWWC-2 and above)

1. Bidders should be locally registered by the authorized body to conduct the above services and have license valid for year 2018 E.C.
2. Valid VAT Registration Certificate and Taxpayer registration.
3. Tax Clearance Certificate stating the bidder is eligible to participate in any public tender and valid at least at the deadline for submission of bids.
4. Bidders should deposit non-refundable Two Hundred Birr (200.00 ETB) to the nearby Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) branch referring this tender number SSNT-T655 to Ethiopian Airlines Group Account Number 1000006958277(E-99). Bidders shall email the scanned copy of the deposit slip to the below address and will get the Tender document by return Email.
5. Bidders shall furnish bid security in the form of CPO or unconditional and irrevocable bank guarantee with an amount of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Birr (ETB 150,000.00) in the name of Ethiopian Airlines Group. Any insurance and conditional guarantee shall not be accepted.
6. Ethiopian Airlines Group has the right to request the Bidder to extend the validity period of the proposal for an additional day.

The sealed bid document must be submitted in separate envelopes i.e., the (Technical Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one outer envelope duly marking the inner envelopes as "ORIGINAL" and "COPIES" document delivered to Ethiopian Airlines, Strategic Sourcing Non-Technical section before/on December 9,2026 at 2:30 PM in the afternoon. The bid will be opened on the same date at 3:00 PM at Ethiopian Airlines Group head office, Addis Ababa bid opening room in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
