Standard Insurance (S.C), would like to invite licensed public audit firms to carry out a Statutory audit for the fiscal year 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29. The audit firm to participate in this tender are required to fill the following;

Tender for external Audit Service

Standard Insurance (S.C) is a privately owned insurance company licensed by National bank of Ethiopia in October 2025 to undertake both general and long-term (life) insurance business in accordance with the licensing and supervision of insurance business proclamation No. 746/2012 and the commercial code of Ethiopia.

The company would like to invite licensed public audit firms to carry out a Statutory audit for the fiscal year 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29. The audit firm to participate in this tender are required to fill the following;

• Should be certified chartered-accounts who are authorized to audit public interest entity by the office of auditing and accounting board of Ethiopia.
• Copy of professional indemnity insurance cover;
• Should have renewed (valid) business license;
• Should have tin certificate;
• Should have submit their detailed work profile;

Besides, the audit firms participate in this tender should indicate the time frame to complete the audit. Eligible and interested audit firms can submit their sealed technical and financial proposal with quotation.

300. Eligible Audit Firms can obtain Bid Document up on payment of Birr 300.00 (Three Hundred Birr) from Finance and Accounts Department starting from November 2, 2026.
301. The Bid shall remain valid and open for acceptance for a period of Seven (7) working days starting from November 2, 2026.

• The Bid will be closed on November 9, 2026 at 3:00 pm and will be opened on the same date at 3:30 pm in the presence of bidders or their Authorized representatives if required, at the company Head Office board room.
