The Amhara National Regional State South Gonder zone Dera woreda Finance Office through the Government of Ethiopia has received credit and grant from the IDA toward the cost of Food System Resilience Program (FSRP) and it intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for which this invitation is issued.
1.The Amhara National Regional South Gonder zone Dera woreda Finance Office. Now invites eligible bidders, who have Water Work construction license grade GC-5 and above for the construction of the following small scale Irrigation projects.

2. .Bidding will be conducted through a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
3. Bidders should be evaluated with their attached technical proposal documents against technical evaluation criteria of bidding documents and based on required specification.
4. Bids shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) days after bid opening.
5. The amount of bid security as stated in the table above in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid for ninety (90) days after bid opening. Insurance bond is not acceptable.
6. Bidders are required to submit copies of all eligible documents and licenses which are renewed for the current budget year.
7. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased directly from South Gonder zone Dera worda Finance Office at Abesamie City on payment of a none refundable fee Birr 800(Eight Hundred Birr only) or equivalent amount by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address indicated below.
8. Bid must be delivered to Amhara National Regional State, South Gonder zone Dera worda Procurement & prop/admin Office at Ambesamie City before 4:00 AM local time on November 18/2019 E.C Bids shall be opened at 4:30 AM on the same date in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend.
9. Bidders shall submit two envelopes, "Qualification information" in one envelope and "financial bid and bid security" separately in another envelope and should be combined in one sealed outer envelope.
10. The office reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid.
11. Inspection and acquisition of the tendering documents and further information can be obtained from our office.
