IRE has been operating in Ethiopia since 2004 in Addis Ababa City, Oromia, Somali and Afar National Regional States. Since 2004, Islamic Relief (IR) has been operational in Ethiopia delivering humanitarian assistance and implementing development interventions. Working with the local communities and government, IR managed to reach millions of vulnerable communities in remote pastoralist areas and the very urban poor. Accordingly, IRE has received funds to procure medical Equipment's.
- The ISLAMIC RELIEF ETHIOPIA (IRE) now invites all eligible licensed by relevant government authorities for 2018 E.C to provide medical equipment.
- Bidders should submit previous performance for at least three years in case they have participated in similar transaction.
- A complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of bank advice after depositing non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 at ISLAMIC RELIEF ETHIOPIA A/C 1000007230714.
- Sealed and waxed envelopes containing original and copy of offer for the medical equipment for health facility shall be delivered before Wednesday 4 November 2026: 10:00 AM Morning to Islamic Relief Country office.
- The bid shall be accompanied by bid security 2 % of bid amount inclusive of VAT in Cash Payment Order (CPO) or Unconditional bank guarantee, which is valid for 60 days beginning on the date the bid is opened.
- Bid will open on Wednesday 4 November 2026 at 10:30 AM local time in the morning at Country office.
- Bids will be evaluated based on the criteria specified in the tendering document.
