BID ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CONASTRUCTION of A COMMUNITY SEED BANK in BERBERE WOREDA OF BALE ZONE, OROMIA REGIONAL STATE

MELCA-Ethiopia is a not for profit, Non-Governmental Organization legally licensed as an Ethiopian Civil Society Organization to engage in Community development Activities in different regional states of Ethiopia.

As part of the ECOSAVE project the Organization is undertaking, in partnership with Wateraid Ethiopia and Meda Welabu University in Berbere woreda of Bale Zone in Oromia Regional State, the organization wants to construct a community seed bank (CSB) in one of the kebeles adjacent to Harodumal town, center of the woreda, so as to establish Farmers Managed seed system in the project target kebeles.

Accordingly, MELCA–Ethiopia invites eligible and qualified contractors licensed as G5 and above to submit sealed bids for construction of the community seed bank in accordance with the prepared design and bill of quantity.

Interested bidders can collect the DESIGN and BoQ for the planned community seed bank from MELCA Head Office in Addis Ababa or ECOSAVE project office in Haro dumal town, Berbere woreda.
