INVITATION TO BID FOR TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS SERVICES
Movement for Ecological Learning and Community Action (MELCA-Ethiopia) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible, licensed, and experienced transport service providers for the transportation of honey processing equipment and top bars from Addis Ababa to various designated woredas and zones.
1. Scope of Work and Cargo Description:
The successful service provider will be required to transport the following items from Addis Ababa:
- Honey Processing Materials: A total of 16 manual 3-framed honey extractors, 16 manual honey presses, 16 casting moulds, 4 honey sieves, 4 digital weight machines, and 4 honey processors. These items are to be delivered to the following destinations: Cheta, Tello, Bita, Chena, and Mizan.
- Top Bars (Kenya Top Bar Hive frames): A total of 8,000 top bars (equivalent to 266 bundles). These are to be transported specifically to Mengeshi (Majang Zone).
- Other Office Materials (as detailed from no. 7- 27 below) to be transported specifically to Addis Ababa from Abobo, Gambella Town.

3. Bid Requirements:
Interested bidders must have renewed license, able to issue receipts, demonstrate proven experience, the capacity to transport both delicate processing equipment and bulky agricultural frames (266 bundles), and the ability to ensure timely and damage-free delivery.
4. Submission Guidelines:
Bidders are required to submit their financial proposals in sealed envelopes, clearly marking the title of the bid "BID FOR TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS SERVICES".

- MELCA-Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with its procurement procedures.
