Assignment Title: Lead Fundraising Strategy Development and Operational Execution
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Duration:5 Consecutive Months

Key Deliverables

The selected professional expert/ Organization will be expected to deliver the following:

1. Five-Year Fundraising Strategy & Donor Database - including fundraising targets, donor mapping, priority funding opportunities, and resource mobilization approaches.
2. Fundraising, Promotion & Event Planning Toolkit - including proposal/ concept-note templates, organizational profile, pitch deck, CSR packages, promotional and donor communication materials, and fundraising/event plans and materials.
3. Donor Pipeline & Staff Capacity Building - establish and maintain a functional donor tracking system and provide practical staff training on fundraising, donor engagement, proposal development, promotion, event management, and pipeline management.
4. Fundraising & Donor Engagement Implementation - lead and implement donor outreach, meetings, presentations, networking, promotional activities, and plan, facilitate and lead fundraising and donor engagement events, including submission of at least ten grant proposals/ concept notes.
5. Implementation Monitoring & Progress Report - document fundraising implementation, donor engagement, promotional activities, events, proposals submitted, follow-up actions, progress achieved, challenges, and corrective actions.
6. Final Assignment Report - summarize all activities and results, including fundraising and donor engagement, promotional and fundraising events, proposals submitted, achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations for sustainable resource mobilization...

Submission Requirements

Interested professional organizations/institutions are invited to submit the following:

• Organization Profile and Legal Documents - including organizational profile, legal registration/certificate, establishment year, areas of expertise, organizational structure, and institutional capacity.
• Expression of Interest and Technical Proposal - including a clear understanding of the assignment, proposed approach and methodology, implementation plan, and strategy for achieving the required fundraising, donor engagement, proposal development, event, and capacity-building deliverables.
• Relevant Institutional Experience and Evidence of Previous Work - demonstrating proven experience in fundraising strategy development, resource mobilization, donor engagement, proposal development, fundraising events, or related assignments, supported by samples, references, completion certificates, contracts, or other relevant evidence.
• Proposed Team - CVs of key professional personnel who will be assigned to the project, indicating their qualifications, relevant experience, roles, and responsibilities.
• Financial Proposal and References - a separate financial proposal indicating professional fees and other anticipated costs, together with contact details of at least three relevant institutional clients or partners for whom the organization has undertaken similar assignments.
