Awash Bank S.C.is undertaking a strategic IT infrastructure enhancement and technology modernization initiative to address its expanding technological capabilities, growing business requirements, and evolving service delivery needs. As part of this initiative, the Bank hereby invites qualified, technically competent, and commercially competitive bidders to submit proposals for the following:

1. Renewal of VMware vSphere and vSAN Software Support Subscriptions and Related Services
2. Supply & Implementation of an Enterprise Infrastructure Modernization Software Platform with Related Services

The scope encompasses licensing procurement/renewal, system supply, installation, configuration, integration, data migration, testing, technical training, and documentation as detailed in this RFP.

The procurement is organized into two distinct LOTs as outlined in the table below:

1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Directives of the Bank and other Relevant Laws of the country, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
2. A complete set of bidding documents in English shall be obtained from Procurement and Supplies Directorate of Awash Bank S.C located at Awash Towers 12th floor room No 01 upon payment of non-refundable fee Birr 500.00 during office hours (Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; 1:00 - 4:30 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM) starting from September 29,2026 up on presentation of copy of renewed trade license, certificate of registration, tax clearance certification, VAT registration certificate & TIN registration certificate [...]
3. Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond amount: -
   • For LOT-1: USD 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand US Dollars and 0/100) and for local bidders Birr 1,640,000.00 (One Million Six Hundred Forty Thousand ETB and 0/100)
   • For LOT-2: USD 5,000.00 (Five Thousand US Dollars and 0/100) and for local bidders Birr 820,000.00 (Eight Hundred Twenty Thousand ETB and 0/100)
4. The Bid bond must be in the form of Bank guarantee or cash payment order (CPO) in favor of Awash Bank S.C. from:
   a) Any local bank,
   b) Citibank N.A New York,
   c) Citibank N.A. London,
   d) Commerz Bank A.G,
   e) Deutsche Bank A.G,
   f) National Westminster Bank,
   g) ING Bank, Amsterdam.
5. The bank guarantee should be issued by any scheduled Bank, but it must be counter guaranteed by local bank.
6. Bid document must be deposited in the bid box prepared for this purpose on or before November 11, 2026 at 2:00PMin the above-mentioned address.
7. Bid opening shall be held at Office of Procurement and Supplies Management Directorate Awash Tower 12th floorin the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who wish to attend on November 11, 2026 at2:30PM.

9. Failure to comply any of the conditions from item 2 to 8 above shall result in automatic rejection from the BID.
10. The bank reserves the right to accept or reject the bid partially or fully.
