The Somali Regional State Jig-jiga Model Boarding School invites all eligible and interested bidders, including National Competitive Bids (NCB), NO NCB/SRS/JMBS.
Lot 1: Dry food items such as rice, spaghetti, macaroni, sugar, powdered milk, and cooking oil.
Lot 2: Vegetables, aromatic spices such as pepper, seasoning, onions, potatoes, and fresh meat.
Lot 3: 100 student uniforms, tailored specifically for boys and girls according to student needs.
1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) and is open to all interested and eligible bidders. Bid evaluation shall be determined in accordance with the provisions indicated in the Bid Documents. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2% (Two Percent) of the bid price, in the form of a CPO or bank guarantee. Insurance bonds are not acceptable. The bid security shall remain valid for 60 days after bid opening.
2. Bids shall be submitted to the address of the Jigjiga Model Boarding School indicated in this Invitation for Bids. Bidders shall submit separate technical/original and/Original and copy offers in accordance with the instructions provided in the Bidding Documents.
3. Bidders are required to submit an official application letter, a renewed Trade License Valid for 2019 E.C. Tax-payer Registration Certificate, valid tax clearance/tax payment documents, VAT Registration Certificate, and Supplier Registration Certificate, together with any other documents required in the Bidding Documents.
4. Bids must be delivered to the Somali Regional State Jigjiga Model Boarding School on or before 9:30 A.M. (East Africa Time), 10 calendar days from the date of publication/ announcement in the Ethiopian newspapers. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened on the same day at 10:00 A.M. (East Africa Time) at the place specified in the Bidding
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased directly from the Somali Regional State Jigjiga Model School, Finance, and Logistics Department, Room No.04, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 400.00 (four hundred Birr) by interested bidders, and submission of a written application.
