The Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Road and Transport Bureau has allocated funds granted from the World Bank through the Rural Connectivity for Food Security Program (RCFS) and intends to apply part of this fund towards the cost of Construction works for Four Trail Bridge & Six/6/ Special Structure in Aburhamo & Sedal Woreda of Benishangul Gumuz Regional State as summarized hereunder in the table.

The Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Road and Transport Bureau now invites national eligible bidders with:
- Their professional certificate and renewed business license valid for the year 2018 E.C
- Registered for VAT and listed in the category of registered 'Contractor 'from the Ministry of Construction or shall have a certificate of competency from the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction or Regional Construction Authorities, renewed for the bidding period.
- For bidders outside of the region, temporary registration in Benishangul Gumuz Regional State's Urban & infrastructure Bureau has required & attached.
- Tax Payer Registration, Suppliers list certificates and Tax Clearance Certificates.
- A trail bridge bidder must have a trail bridge construction training certificate taken from Helvetas Swiss Cooperation of Ethiopia & attach it.
TO submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, material & equipment for the construction works of the above Four Trail Bridges & Six /6/ Special Structure projects in Aburhamo & Sedal Woreda of Benishangul Gumuz Regional State.
- Each prospective bidder proposing for this bid is required only to have a Business Registration Certificate of the Category General Contractor or Road contractor of grades GC-.4 or GC-5 & RC-4 or RC -5.
- A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the above address and payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 2000 ETB (Two thousand) starting from the first appearance of this advertisement on the Newspaper for the coming 21 days. The bid comprises one procurement package containing Seven/7/ lots. A bidder can participate either one lots or two lots only. The final submission date and closing of the Bid proposals will be on the 22th date of this announcement on the Newspaper at 4:00 am /Local Time in the Morning/ and it shall be opened the same date at 4:30 am /Local Time in the Morning/ in the premises of Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Road & Transport Bureau. A bid proposal, which is received late, will be returned unopened to the respective Bidder.
- All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr 100,000 ETB (One Hundred Thousand) for each Lots, from legal banks of Ethiopia. The bid security shall be payable on demand to the Bureau, and must be an irrevocable Letter of Credit, or Bank Guarantee, or a Certified Payment Order (CPO) at the Bidders option except any insurance company guaranties.
- For each lots, seal each original & two copies of both technical & financial documents separately and clearly marked as original & copies and seal the technical & financial document in two separate envelopes and marked as technical & financial. Finally, seal the technical, financial & bid security in one mother envelopes.
- Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidder's representatives to attend at the Road Connectivity for Food Security Program Room. If the 22th date of this announcement lies on a weekend or a Holyday, the opening date will be the next working day while the time remains the same.
- The construction works shall be completed within Four Months (120 Calendar days) for each Trail bridges & Two Months (60 Calendar days) for each special structures starting from the commencement of works.
- The Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Road and Transport Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, to advertise for new bids or to proceed and do the work otherwise as may be for its best interest.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Road and Transport Bureau from the Road Connectivity for Food Security Program Room.
