1. Ethiopian Electric Power has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Geothermal Sector Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Build Remaining Civil Works (Camp and Warehouse) for the Aluto Geothermal Sector Development Project.
2. Ethiopian Electric Power now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Build Remaining Civil Works (Camp and Warehouse) for Aluto Geothermal Sector Development Project.
3.  Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all National bidders.
4. The Scope of Work;  Completion of works of camp construction including furnishing and general service.
5. Interested National eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopia Electric Power (EEP) and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 pm from Monday to Friday during official working hours at the address given below.
6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders at the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500 starting from 1 Feb.2023. The method of payment will be in cash.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00 PM local time on 03 March 2023. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 2:30 PM local time on 03 March 2023.
8. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security and the amount and currency of the bid security shall be 500,000 Birr.
