INVITATION TO DESIGN CONSULTANCY SERVICE BID

The office of Oromia Coffee Farmers' Cooperative Union L.L. located at Oromia Regional state Sheger city, Gelan sub-city invites a Competitive Consulting firms for Preparation of detail Design of land scape for the compound that located at Gelan Head Quarter including site plan of the compound with its contour.

Therefore, Bidders can obtain a complete set of bidding document from the office of the Union located at Gelan sub-city, starting from the first date this notice posted on the Addis Zeman newspaper against payment of nonrefundable fee of Birr 800.00 (Birr eight Hundred only).

Bidding will be conducted through the National Open Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procedure Specified in the bidding documents and is open to all eligible bidders. A detail specified criterion is stated in the bidding documents. Bidders shall present:

1.       Copy of their renewed trade license, renewed registration trade license certificate, tax identification number, valid tax clearance certificate, VAT registration certificate, CV, past three audit report of Company, consultancy license certificate of the deputy and other necessary document not mentioned.

2.       Bidders provide 2% of total contract ET. Birr bid security in the form of by the name of Oromia Coffee Farmers' Cooperative Union L.L. Bidders are strictly advised to adhere the term of reference (TOR) set in the tender document.

3.       Incomplete methodology, incomplete profile and CVs, absence of local references and others will be examined strictly.

4.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain Standard bid document (SBD) at the Union office at the addressed stated below from 2:00 to 6:00 am and 7:00 to 11:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 2:00 to 5:30 am and 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday 2:00 to 6:00 am local time.

5.       Submission and opening of the bid will be at the office of the union procurement Division, at the addressed stated below

6.       The deadline of bid document submission & bid opening Technical and financial offer will be: -

-For technical proposal the closing and opening day will be on the 15th working day at 4:00 am & 4:30 am local time respectively from the first date posted on the newspaper. If the 15th day will not be working day, the opening and closing day of the bid will the next working day with the same time table stated above. Note that the working day reference to from Monday to Saturday.

-          Financial proposal opening date will be after evaluation of earlier submitted or opened technical proposal documents and late bid shall be rejected.

7.       The bidders shall submit one "Original" and "One Copy" of Technical and Financial documents that shall be produced in such a way that the original one and copy to be sealed in one envelope for technical and financial separately. It should also be labeled as 'one original and one copy" and all to be placed in one outer large mother envelope. The bid security must be sealed separately marked "Bid security" and must be put in the envelope of the original technical documents. Every envelope should be sealed, Signed and stamped by the bidder properly and separately.

8.       The bidders should return the original bid document and fill forms on the information required for open tender, stamp, seal, and sign the bid document failure to do so results as non-responsive and rejected automatically.

9.       The winner bidder provides 10% unconditional Bank Guarantee or performance security bond from the total contract within five (5) working days from signing the contract. Performance bond from Insurance Company or any other organization except bank is unacceptable.

10.   Oromia Coffee Producers' Cooperative Union L.L has the right to reject all or parts of bid.
