- The delivery period is 12 Months for Sinana SSI and 6 months for Bedelle Deep Well Drilling.
- Bidding will be conducted through the NCB and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Finance, Logistic and Procurement office 2nd Floor, Room No 206 and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM and 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM during office hours.
- Qualifications requirements include: technical, financial, legal, and other qualification requirements. A margin of preference shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Oromia Agricultural Research Institute, Finance, Logistic and Procurement office and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee 1000.00 ETB for Lot-1 Sinana Small Scale Irrigation and 500 ETB for Lot-2 Bedelle Deep Well Drilling. The method of payment will be in cash. The Bidding Documents will be sent by hand.
- Bids must be delivered to the Oromia Agricultural Research Institute, Finance, Logistic and Procurement Office, 2nd Floor, Room No 206 on or before 10:00 AM on 10 November 2025.
- Late bids will be rejected.
- Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the Oromia Agricultural Research Institute, Finance, Logistic and Procurement Office, 2nd Floor, Room No 206 at 10:30 AM on 10 November 2025.
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 500,000 for lot I (Sinana Small Scale Irrigation) and 300,000 for lot 2 (Bedelle Deep Well Drilling) in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee.
- The Oromia Agricultural Research Institute reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders.
- Contractors can bid on both lots, but award will be offered on one project even if the contractor is the potential winner for both projects. This will be decided based on the contractor previous experience, current capacity and the client trust.
