Invitation to Bid for procurement of Construction, Construction of Agricultural Nursery Shed

Contract/Bid No.327/17

1. Construction of Agricultural Nursery Shed ET-SER-ISVCD-001-2025-CW

1. The SERS Bureau of Agriculture, (Agricultural Development Department) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Agricultural Nursery Shed Project.

2. The construction period is 90 calendar days (3 months) For Construction of agricultural Nursery Shed.
3. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security for 90 calendar days in the form of either of an unconditional guarantee issued by a bank, or CPO in the amount as indicated in the table above.
4. The employer now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders with license grade: - "BC-5" or "GC-6" and Above for the execution and completion of agricultural Nursery Shed; which is being bid as a unit price/admeasurement/ contract based on the bill of quantities.
5. This IFB is open to all eligible bidders who wish to participate. Subject to- the restrictions stipulated in the bidding document, eligible bidders may associate with other bidders to enhance their capacity to successfully carry out the works.
6. A contractor will be selected using the national competitive bidding (NCB) method in accordance with the World bank Procurement Guide lines.
7. Please note that a pre-bid conference will not be held as described in the Bid Data Sheet (BDS), Section III of the bidding document.
8. Bidders interested in submitting a bid shall purchase the bidding document against payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 300.00 (three hundred birr) by giving full contact details of the bidder to the following point of contact. This will ensure that the bidders receive updates regarding this bidding document.
9. Bidders who wish to participate in the bidding process should submit 1 (one) original and 2 (two) copies of separately sealed technical and financial documents all in one envelope to the address below before the bid submission deadline stated below.
10. The deadline for submission of bids will be on the next day of after 28th day of the bid advertised date at 4:00 local time and the bid shall be opened immediately thereafter at 4:30 local time on the same date. If the day of opening is "holy day" or weekend (Saturday and Sunday) the bid opening will be on the next working day.
11. Bidders should be aware that late bids will not be accepted under any circumstance and, will be returned unopened at the written request and cost of the bidder. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security or a hid securing declaration (as required) in the manner and amount specified in the Bid Data Sheet/BDS/.
12. Please note that electronic bids shall not be accepted.
13. The Bureau reserves the Right to accept or reject parts of or the entire bid.
