REMARK: SHOA in its efforts to promote and sustain an outstanding community. plans to have its own underground water source as an alternative to provide the community with a continuous safe water supply.

Invitation for bids (water well drilling works)

1. SHOA invites sealed bids for water well drilling to the following projects.
   1. Drilling of deep well within SHOA compound
   2. Construction of water supply system including pipeline works to reservoirs located at the basement level 2 of the car parking garage.
2. This bid invitation is open to all eligible contractors who could present renewed trade license VAT and TIN registration certificates and license for water works construction/water well drilling works
3. Interested eligible bidders can purchase the bidding document from SHOA office upon non-refundable payment of birr 200.00
4. Bid must be clearly marked depicting bidders name, address with official seal and tender reference no.
5. Bidders must submit the technical and financial documents separately each consisting of one original and one copy marked clearly "original" and "copy". Both envelops should be sealed and stamped. In the event of any discrepancy between the original and the copy, the original will prevail.
6. All bid offers shall be in fixed price without any periodic or conditional price adjustment.
7. Bidders offer shall include confirmatory investigation study (hydrogeological and geophysical study) and report should be submitted before commencing the drilling works.
8. Bidders are provided with BoQ for tendering purposes only and the bidder will be paid for actual works executed that shall be re-measured and confirmed jointly.
9. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening date and must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 2% of bid amount in the form of company
10. Bid proposals shall be sealed and submitted to SHOA office on or before 2:00 pm of the bid closing date.
11. Bid closing date shall be on February 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
12. Bids shall be opened at 3:00 pm on the above-mentioned date and address in the presence of bidders or their representatives who opt to attend.
