1. 1. 1. The Guto Gida Woreda Finance Office of East Wollega Zone  now invite wax-sealed bids for eligible bidders to all National contractors of Category GC-5/BC-4and above that shall submit Certificate of Registration from Ministry of Construction/Oromia Construction Authority renewed for the Year 2024/2025 (2017 EC) and who have renewed their Trade license for the current fiscal year (2017E.C) and have VAT registration certificate & Tax Clearance Certificate valid during the bidding period from the Concerned Governmental Body.
      2. Bidding documents may be purchased from the respective Guto Gida Woreda Finance Office, for a non-refundable fee of Birr 1,500.00 (One thousand five hundred ETB only) at working hours, commencing from Nov DEC-20/2024 The method of payment shall be in cash.
      3. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of 300,000.00 (Three hundred thousand) ETB in the form of either CPO or unconditional bank guarantee and shall be delivered to the respective Guto Gida District Health Office, along with the envelope of the Technical and financial documents.
      4. The Technical document shall be prepared in one original and two copies. The original & the copies shall be signed, stamped & wax sealed in a separate envelope clearly marking "Original", "Copy 1" & "Copy 2". Failure to do so would entail rejection of the bid.
      5. The Financial document shall be prepared in one original and two copies. The original & the copies shall be signed, stamped & wax sealed in a separate envelope clearly marking "Original", "Copy 1" & "Copy 2". Failure to do so would entail rejection of the bid
      6. The Technical, financial and the bid security documents will be sealed in one single outer envelope of the bidder shall be submitted to The Respective GutoGida District Health Office, before the deadline for bid submission.

The deadline for bid submission shall be at 10:00 AM in the Morning of21st day starting from bid award on Addis Zemen Newspapers& the bids shall be opened on the same date at 10:30AMin the morning, at which time the Technical Documents will be opened, in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who wish to attend.
      9. The results of the technical evaluation shall be notified with an internal notice
      10. The financial documents of those who have scored 70% and above on the technical evaluation will be subsequently opened after an issuance of an official notice by the respective Guto Gida District Finance Office.
      11. The results of the financial evaluation shall be notified with an internal notice board
      12. Misplacing of documents which is not as ITB would be a cause for rejection     of the bid document
      13. Completion time for the construction work shall be 180 calendar days.
      14. The Guto Gida District Finance Office reserve full right to reject any or all Bids
      15. The bidders who have any project on hand which is below 70% of physical progress should be rejected from the bide, and the bidders who have previous termination history in the respective East Wollaga Zone would be rejected from the bide
